Tell me about Kim Fruitt, the owner of CPR Innovation...

Before becoming an American Heart Association CPR Instructor, my initial interest in emergency training came about while working in public relations at the North Carolina Zoo. I assisted visitors and responded to emergency calls with the EMT staff. After graduating from UNC, I worked in healthcare for 19 years. I have always enjoyed educating others and take pride in teaching life-saving skills. I am prompt, thorough, courteous, and enthusiastic. I place high value on ethics and a job well done.

CPR Innovation has a training location at "Enjoy Nutrition" 4529 US 220 North Summerfield, NC. We share space with Enjoy Nutrition, after their business hours. This location is in the Summerfield Square shopping center, along with "Dollar General" and "Golden Antiques and Treasures." If you are searching for us using navigation software, be sure to include SUMMERFIELD in the address. (Google maps defaults to a similar address in Madison, NC.)

Which course should I sign up for?

AHA BLS is intended for current healthcare providers and those entering healthcare fields. BLS is designed for individuals with additional medical knowledge. If you are entering a program of study such as pharmacy, phlebotomy, EMT, Dental or Physical Therapy, Nursing, CNA, or similar, please select BLS.

AHA HeartSaver courses are designed for laypeople and are appropriate for most non-medical places of work. These may include; corporations, business offices, schools, churches, camps, life guards, child care providers, scouts, baby-sitters, foster homes and others. If you are unsure whether you also need First Aid, please check with your employer or other entity requiring certification, or contact us about selecting the appropriate course. We are here to help!
