This First Aid/CPR/AED course is excellent for teens, and is especially important if they will be supervising younger children. Topics include CPR and use of an AED, relief of choking, asthma, allergic reactions, use of an epinephrine auto injector, drowning prevention, control of bleeding, and other injuries and illnesses. Participants will gain the knowledge to manage pediatric emergencies until advanced help arrives.
American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (IN-PERSON COURSE)
Most healthcare facilities and medical employers require Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association. This in-person, hands-on class is designed specifically for current healthcare providers and those entering the medical field. This course includes CPR for all ages, use of a bag-valve mask, AED training, relief of foreign-body airway obstruction, and techniques for single rescuers and teams.

American Heart Association HeartCode BLS (Part 2: SKILLS SESSION ONLY)
HeartCode BLS is a blended learning option for healthcare providers. This option includes traditional BLS content presented through a 2-part course.
Part-1 is an online course, purchased directly through the AHA website: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls. (additional fee applies)
Part-2 is this in-person, hands-on skills session, which completes the certification.. Participants MUST PROVIDE a PRINTED COPY of their AHA HeartCode BLS completion certificate, to be eligible for this course.
